Hot Jack Dip

This spicy spice dip is a perfect appetizer or even as the main event. The versatility in the recipe allows you to make it mellow to super spicy. Serve it with your favorite cracker, bread, crudité or in our case tortilla chips. It is a crowd pleaser for all palettes.


 

Ingredients.

  • (1) 10 oz can of jackfruit (drain, rinse and dry)

  • (1) 8 oz cream cheese (we like Kite Hill)

  • ¾ cup of cheddar cheese (we like Violife) 

  • ½ cup The Hot Stuff (according to taste)

  • ½ cup of mayo

  • 1 tablespoon of BBQ Blend

  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (according to taste)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps.

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350.

  2. Over medium, heat a tablespoon of oil.

  3. When warm add shredded jackfruit. Stir for 2-3 minutes.

  4. Add The Hot Stuff and BBQ Blend. Cook 2-3 minutes and then stir in cream cheese, mayo and Cayenne.

  5. Once combined, add half of the cheese and blend. Add salt and additional Cayenne to taste.

  6. Transfer to a bread pan and top with remaining cheese. Bake until bubbly, about 10 minutes.
